He has more than 25 years of experience and worked at senior management level in several European markets and with global leadership.

Strengths and Career Achievements

Peter Holmer-Bretlau was most recently leading melanoma, Novartis’ biggest business in oncology, across nine Western European markets and has previously served as country manager of ViiV Netherlands and senior commercial positions in Europe, both in ViiV and GSK prior to that.

Peter’s extensive commercial experience goes across all facets of strategy conception and implementation including product launch, portfolio management, turn-around performance and building teams across functions and geographies and is an expert facilitator of projects and workshops engaging the wider organisation.

Peter speaks several languages and has lived in several European countries as part of his career and holds both a Double Master’s Degree from HEC in Paris and Copenhagen Business School, as well as an MBA from Curtin School of Technology in Perth.
