Ruth Corcoran-Henry

During several years in R&D at Proctor & Gamble and GlaxoSmithKline, Ruth gained considerable experience in the product life cycle from successful development, launch and market roll out across cosmetic products, medical devices and registered medicines.

Ruth is an accomplished project and programme leader with a Green Belt in Operational Excellence gained from her experience in roles within External Supply, Supply Chain and Global Product Development. Ruth offers clients capabilities and expertise in Contract Manufacturing, execution of product transfers, technical problem-solving, including root cause and risk analysis and the successful end-to-end delivery of new products. Ruth also brings a core capability in providing tailored project management courses having trained groups globally to build competitive capability.

Ruth’s experience in Strategy and Business Development has seen her play lead roles in managing divestments, integrations and delivering business transformation programmes within global healthcare, FMCG and pharmaceutical businesses.

Ruth has supported a number of client roles across Supply chain management and Project/Programme Management where key deliverables have included successful completion of multiple business-critical projects; new product launches, market expansions, product optimisation and manufacturing transfers. In addition, Ruth has provided focus and governance through a significant business change acting as programme lead for a complex R&D technical centre build and organisation relocation in the South East.

Over the last few years Ruth’s leadership role with Rosemont Pharmaceuticals saw her design and lead the expansion of a PMO structure to enhance execution, accelerating innovation, and facilitating transformation enabling a 200% increase in active initiatives. This included developing and implementing processes and standards to build organisational ways of working and capability. Alongside leading the PMO team, Ruth was also the overall project lead accountable for the end-to-end design, build, and delivery of a new R&D Innovation Centre in Leeds successfully completed within a challenging environment.
