Strengths and Career Achievements

April’s career has been spent at companies such as Boeing, Mattel, Pratt & Whitney, Jacobs Engineering, and Toyota. She led change management projects for Mattel’s U.S., European, and Asia divisions. Also while at Mattel, she lead efforts to redesign talent management and performance management processes and helped to design new development processes for employees. She introduced a Deloitte-based change management model into the Global Mattel human resources organization.

She helped lead the change management efforts during the acquisition of Boeing’s Rocketdyne division by Pratt & Whitney. There she worked with senior leadership introducing new people processes into the legacy Boeing population while leading all communication efforts during the transition. April’s experience also includes training, facilitation, and teambuilding. She holds an MBA from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Georgia State University.
