A UK citizen but with a global outlook Huw has a proven track record of setting up programmes, PMOs and delivering projects in diverse & challenging international locations, with particular expertise in emerging markets. He has extensive knowledge of new product development and launch, business transformation and growth, network rationalization, post-merger integration programmes, and supply chain and manufacturing operations, with numerous roles in FMCG and healthcare sectors.
Huw has led multiple teams, has significant stakeholder management experience to senior level, and is well accustomed to working in, and indirectly influencing, matrix management organisations. He leverages lean / six sigma skills to assist creative problem solving and strategy decisions in distinct markets and settings.
He has set up systems for, recruited, trained and led multiple PMO, Project Controls and Planning teams in a FTSE100 company, as well as demonstrating significant international Project Management experience for large complex projects; he has delivered projects in Singapore, South Africa, India, USA, Ireland and China. Huw is an experienced and highly regarded trainer, developing Project Management and Controls skills, and talent in organisations.
Huw is a Chartered Chemical Engineer, and a Senior Visiting Lecturer at the University of Birmingham.
