Marie Salmon

Marie has led complex projects involving 70 plants across 15 countries in Europe and over 100 POS across 10 countries in South East Asia. She is used to working in international environments and interacting with many stakeholders from various cultures.

While working in the packaging industry she delivered tremendous year on year cost savings for her clients (top 10 FMCG companies, mainly in food and healthcare) by reducing the complexity and the number of SKUs, optimising board grades and prints, improving supply chain processes, and bringing innovation with fit for purpose box designs.

She also developed an online library tool for all European display units, which resulted in dramatic increases in speed to market by avoiding the need to design new displays from scratch.

Since moving to Singapore 2 years ago she has reinforced her supply chain skills, working for one of the world’s top Luxury brands. She successfully integrated 5 new countries in South East Asia in less than 6 months and without any additional headcount, resulting in 40% sales growth and supply chain process optimisation.

Marie has a Masters degree in management from ESCP Europe in Paris, one of the top 3 business schools in Europe. She speaks French (native), German and Spanish. She is particularly skilled at project management, negotiation, delivering cost savings, supply chain optimisation and innovation, and is sensitive and adaptable to cultural differences.
