Strengths and Career Achievements

In his most recent role, David led the European Commercial Operations function at ViiV Healthcare, which included collaborating with markets to enable access to ViiV’s new portfolio of HIV medicines in a tough and complex payer environment. Prior to this, David worked at GSK for 25 years in increasingly more senior commercial roles, most recently as Head of the Stiefel (Dermatology) and Allergy franchises, successfully delivering year-on-year growth on an established product portfolio.

David excels in empowering individuals and teams to achieve both ambitious business impact goals and also fulfil their growth aspirations. He is recognised for his pragmatic, healthy challenge and, solution-oriented approach to problem solving, whilst also being able to adapt to change. David has an exceptional ability to manage uncertainty and navigate through complexity, whilst delivering timely and high-quality business solutions.
